Colombia El Diviso – Le Piantagioni del Caffè
Colombia El Diviso is a standout specialty coffee from the Huila region, grown at altitudes between 1,700 and 1,850 meters above sea level. It comes from the El Diviso farm, a family estate of 18 hectares, managed by third-generation producer Nestor Lasso. The farm is dedicated to both tradition and innovation, with 15 hectares planted with coffee and 3 preserved as natural forest.
This lot brings together an impressive range of Arabica varietals, including Caturra, Colombia, Castillo, Tabi, Bourbon (red, yellow, pink), Geisha, Pacamara, and more. The coffees are carefully hand-harvested and undergo fully washed, semi-washed, or natural processes, chosen to highlight sweetness and complexity. Only cherries with the highest Brix levels are selected, ensuring a vibrant and refined cup.
In the cup, El Diviso is very fruity and expressive, with notes of apple cider, pear, and candy. Bright, lively, and sweet, it is especially suited for filter and alternative brewing methods, where its clarity and fruit-driven profile can shine.
